RMIT Performing Arts

After being an active member of the RMIT performing arts community, under the mentorship of Lynne Ellis, I came to run the co-curricular Performing Arts program as part of RMIT Student Life - Creative.
Every year, I produced at least 2-3 productions on a shoestring budget, and virtually no assistance. It was great fun!

Highlights included working with long running creative collaborator Julia Grace who directed Spring Awakening, and Aaron Posner’s Stupid Fucking Bird (after Chekov’s The Seagull). We also were going to do a Little Shop of Horrors, but there was a pandemic. It is rumoured we made a 30 minute version using green-screens on Zoom.
